About the Creator
Mezwyn is a published author, breast cancer survivor, single mother—and the driving force behind Twinbeach Sanctuary. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010, she wrote her book Even The Most Positive Person in the World Gets Cancer while undergoing chemotherapy.
She traveled widely to share her story, shining light on an overlooked side of illness: the emotional journey behind the medical one. She believes its impact is rarely acknowledged, yet vital to healing.
After her recovery, Mezwyn became a certified yoga instructor and turned her life toward her deepest passion—protecting Mother Nature. She returned to her roots on Pulau Sibu, where she founded the Twinbeach Sanctuary team.
Through eco-conscious travel, meaningful experiences, and community-led initiatives, Mezwyn continues to live by her philosophy: to help people heal, grow, and reconnect—without exploiting the beauty that makes it possible.
Today, she continues to educate her team on sustainability—protecting Twinbeach Sanctuary for generations ahead, with her daughter and grandson already part of the story.
